SUNSHINE REFINERY

Permitted Refining Assets Adjacent to the Sunshine Mine

Located approximately one mile north of the Sunshine Mine, the Sunshine Silver/Copper Refinery is a permitted refinery asset within the broader Sunshine Complex. The refinery has historically produced COMEX-deliverable silver bullion and is permitted for hydrometallurgical processing of silver and copper concentrates.

Sunshine is evaluating the refurbishment and restart of the Sunshine Silver/Copper Refinery as part of its broader development plan. If advanced, the
refinery could provide future processing optionality for concentrates from the Sunshine Mine and support the Company’s goal of developing a more integrated domestic silver platform.

The Sunshine Complex also includes historical antimony refinery grounds, and the Company has major permits in place to construct a potential antimony processing facility. This potential facility could allow Sunshine to process antimony-bearing concentrate from the Sunshine Mine and, subject to further development and approvals, potentially process third-party antimony-bearing concentrates.

Together, the Sunshine Mine, Sunshine Silver/Copper Refinery and potential antimony processing facility provide Sunshine with a differentiated platform in Idaho’s Silver Valley. As the Company advances its plan to return the Sunshine Mine to production in 2028, the refinery assets may provide additional flexibility to support future domestic processing of silver, copper and antimony.
