For over a decade, the Sunshine Mine has maintained a record of zero environmental incidents or violations, reflecting our team’s commitment to protecting Idaho’s Silver Valley for future generations. Sunshine also partners with the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service on habitat restoration, campground clean-ups, and debris removal from streams. Together with the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Sunshine has advanced the Big Creek restoration initiative, opening up 10+ miles of new spawning habitat for native Westslope cutthroat trout.
